This week is the beginning of the International Film Festival Rotterdam. In light of this creative movement going on in Rotts, I have decided to log a couple of arty snaps and review a motion picture.
From top: Tiger flags, the supermarket, and below are shots from Los Salvajes (Source: IFFR)
REVIEW
Film: Los Salvajes
About: Argentinian film directed by lad Alejandro Fadel about the 'wild ones' (some cheeky young characters who escaped prison). Wild ones attempt surviving the Argentinian desert. Smashing shots, weak narrative, and edge-of-your-seat-sort-of tension is created.
Good for: Seeing rural Argentina, nuddy bits and gore, visually impressive
Disappointing: Soundtrack, and its a tad too long Fadel
Rating: 5/10
