It’s a picture postcard of “wish they never came"

That is what The Beautiful South say about Manchester. Rotterdam however is a place of endless visitors! So it can't be that bad. This past week I've had Rox and Alice seeing the delightful sights of the city.

 

Verbs achieved:

- Sailing, and eating, the Pancakeboat

- Endlessly listening to John Mayer and The Beautiful South

- Cycling the entire city. Several times

- 'Maxing and relaxing' in Kralingen Park

- Visiting Blijdorp Zoo

- Eating and creating cuisines of the world! Mexican CHECK, Italian CHECK, Scandinavian CHECK, American CHECK, Dutch CHECK, Thai CHECK, Greek CHECK

- Shopping around Beurs, and buying bacon necklaces

- Watching the Dutch 'pictures' (Rotterdam's Hyde Park/Broadway)

- Drinking Foals Fanta with vodka prior to slamming in Rotown

- Doing something Dutch everyday

- Meeting Brazilians, Austrians, and Latvians 

- Unplugging from communication technology

- Wandering around the Cubed Houses

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Alice said Rotterdam was better than anywhere, Liverpool, and Rome.
