Wat leuk!

HURRAY! PRIMA! PRIMA! PRIMA! I PASSED MY DUTCH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And in other news;

1. When going abroad, supermarkets are ten times more interesting that a standard shop for tea bags and beans (probably the two things I miss the most here). A Dutch Mr Kipling has essentially thrown up all over the stores, with packets upon packets of sweet treats, and they have contrasting extra caffeine 'Kick' Pepsi alongside caffeine free Coke Zero (what is exactly in it then?). And Foals Fanta (blackcurrant flavour aka Cassis aka Cassius)

2. It is hard to believe I passed my Crash Course Dutch course (Het is prima!). Below are some more snaps of my international pals and I in post-exam celebration.

What the DAM.. are you doing here Jess Abbey

3. I was thrown onto Rotterdam Airport's floor when the magnificent Charlie Mason arrived in The Netherlands and Jess was following her footsteps. Post-screams and shakes, we embarked on an amazing weekend. It involved a lot of cycling, Dutch language attempts (I may have passed, but I'm still awful), and reminiscing about smashed jam jars.

4. As well as conquering the city by bicycle.. We toured Rotterdam's waters by boat on board the 'Spido', and basked on foot all about Blaak's Saturday market. A well-deserved rest was found at the Open Air Cinema; 'Pleinbioscoop'. A bottle of wine accompanied 'The Hunger Games' for our Saturday night entertainment.

Additionally, my Spanish friend Aitana suggested I cooked a Spanish dish called Arroz Cubano. Photo-ed below is my go at it. This is in light of my next blog post which will be Cuban themed. Somehow. Suarez
